INTRODUCTION

Established in 2001, Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai (BIT Zhuhai) is located in the Golden Inner Bay of the Greater Bay Area and the core innovation corridor of the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone. It is close to Guangzhou and Shenzhen and offers convenient access to Hong Kong and Macao. BIT Zhuhai continues to enhance its international student education system and provides a learning environment that integrates academic study, cross-cultural exchange, innovation and practical learning. BIT currently has more than 5,000 international students from 148 countries across its Beijing and Zhuhai campuses, forming an open, diverse and dynamic international academic community.

This program is an academic exchange and practical innovation program that brings together students from all over the world, focusing on the cutting-edge field of artificial intelligence. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Zhuhai Application Innovation Center for Embodied Intelligence and leading Chinese tech companies to see how AI technology is applied in real-world industry and product development.

This program is an intensive and immersive initiative designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to excel in international contexts. It aims to broaden participants’ international perspectives and leadership skills through a series of meticulously planned activities and visits to leading Chinese enterprises. It focuses on bridging theory and practice, enabling participants to navigate cultural differences, lead diverse teams, and make strategic decisions. Students in this program will also eagage in Chinese language learning and cultural activities.

The program mainly covers cutting-edge fields such as multimodal perception technology for intelligent robots, the development of wheeled quadruped robotic dogs, and unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs). In line with the latest trends in intelligent manufacturing, it provides students with opportunities for multi-physics simulation and specialized thematic lectures. The program will arrange visits to relevant laboratories and hands-on training bases at BIT Zhuhai, giving international students deeper insight into China’s advances in intelligent robotics.

This program explores the deep integration of sustainable energy and next-generation transportation systems. It focuses on cutting-edge fields such as advanced battery systems, carbon neutrality technologies, and innovative nanocomposite materials. In line with trends such as the “low-altitude economy” and “Vehicle-Energy-Road-Cloud” integration, the program offers students insights into AI-driven energy management and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) propulsion technologies. Students will have the opportunity to visit advanced research platforms, such as the Advanced Battery System Lab, and leading enterprises in the Greater Bay Area to understand the practical application of green energy in the smart mobility industry.

5.【2027 BIT (ZHUHAI) Chinese & Cantonese Language and Lingnan Culture Experience】

This program is a specially designed immersive Chinese learning experience for international learners, offering a distinctive combination of Mandarin, Cantonese, and Lingnan culture. Tailored for elementary to intermediate Chinese learners, it equips participants with practical Chinese and Cantonese communication skills for daily life while unlocking the charm of Chinese culture from multiple dimensions. Beyond language improvement, the program cultivates cross-cultural communication competence and a global vision through hands-on engagement with Lingnan heritage. Through interactive workshops and field trips across Zhuhai, participants will experience the unique charm of Lingnan culture--from traditional Cantonese customs and cuisine to local arts and community life--and gain a deeper understanding of the multicultural landscape of the Greater Bay Area.

Tips: 

1. The fee covers tuition, on-campus accommodation, teaching materials, insurance, company visits and cultural tours.

2.The fee doesn’t include meals, airport transfers, or other personal expenses.

1. All programs will be conducted in English.

2.A program may be canceled if fewer than 15 students are enrolled.

3.Once the tuition fee is paid, it is non-refundable.

4.Enrollment for the on-campus program is limited. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

5.If you are successfully admitted, we will send an official Admission Letter as final confirmation. The Program Handbook will be sent one week before the program starts, and the final arrangements will be confirmed via email.

Visa

Students admitted to the on-campus program must apply for an X2 visa at the Chinese embassy or consulate. The application requires the electronic DQ form and admission letter provided by BIT.
